Basic spring style dustproof crowns are made to keep dirt and debris out of a watch. These crowns are made to fit a hole in the side of the case, and do not work with a case tube. There is a spring loaded shoulder on the bottom of the crown that pushes into the hole on the side of the watch for a nice tight fit. This leaves the crown head only showing out of the watch giving it a nice finished look. Available in 8 different taps, 12 different sizes and 2 color options. Generally used on dress, non water resistant or older model watches.
