These deployant buckles are made specifically to replace the Panerai® style leather watch band buckles. These clasps have the same type of male and female pin system to hold the clasp to the band that are used on genuine Panerai® straps. This is a unique way to attach the clasp to the band that Panerai® uses for security to make sure the clasp is held tightly in the strap holes. The screw portion of the clasp is used on the buckle side of the band. The buttons are used to release the locking feature and open the band to fit over your hand. These clasps are made of stainless steel in a brushed finish. This style of buckle will only fit the Panerai® style watch bands that use this system of male and female screw together pins that hold the clasp to the band, they will not fit standard bands.
