The handle of the tweezers is knurled on one side for a secure grip and has the locking mechanism on the other side, which can be easily engaged or disengaged with one hand by moving the sliding lock into position with your finger. The locking mechanism slide control can be used to apply a varying degree of pressure holding the tweezers closed, this allows you to set a loose or tight grip on the tweezers tips.
