Foredom BL Bench Lathe series 1/6 Horsepower Motor
This compact lathe/motor is suitable for polishing, grinding, and other use at the workbench. It has a 1/6 hp, high torque, permanent magnet motor that is extremely quiet and smooth running. Comes with precision machined, A-TM-5 and A-TM-6 Tapered Spindles for holding buffs and wheels up to 4" in diameter. Variable speed control lets you do a variety of work using the simple precision knob on the front of the motor. A variety of adapters and attachments makes this universal polishing motor and lathe the most innovative and versatile motor on the market. Great not only for jewelry making and repair but automotive work, metal fabrication and repair, even woodworking and virtually anything else that involves buffing and polishing. Adapters and attachments available separately include a chuck arbor, collet holder, a buffing wheel mandrel and our favorite the Flexade, a flexible shaft attachment that allows you to use your BL polisher as a Rotary tool for precision buffing, polishing, grinding, drilling, cutting and much more.
