Brown tripoli is a coarse cutting compound for removing scratches and surface imperfections. Used for general cutting down, scratch removal, buffing, and coloring on acrylics and non-ferrous metals like brass, copper, aluminum, die casting and more. Standard, fast cutting tripoli, used when rouge will be used for final finish. Polishing compounds in tubes or bars are characteristically hard. These are normally used with a polishing motor, applying the compound to a buff wheel, then polishing the item.
