This is a coarse cutting compound for removing scratches and surface imperfections. For fast cutting action and some degree of color on brass, copper, aluminum, die casting, and most soft metals and plastics. Standard, fast-cutting tripoli, used when rouge will be used for final finish. Polishing compounds in tubes or bars are characteristically hard. These are normally used with a polishing motor, applying the compound to a buff wheel, then polishing the item.
