This draw plate is used to draw wire chain through to smooth, shape, condense, work-harden, and lengthen it without damaging the wire finish. Use for knitted, crocheted, woven, or braided wire chain made from silver, gold, copper, permanently colored copper wire, and flexible beading wire. Start with a length of knitted or braided wire rope, then draw it through increasingly smaller holes until it is the size you need. Each hole is slightly tapered to make a smoother and more even draw. Plate has 22 holes total - 11 holes from 3.0mm to 16mm, and 11 holes from 1/8" to 5/8".
